Just ordered a pair of these(!) With any luck and a couple years of carefree wearing, mine will resemble those beauties residing above. I really think a desert boot, or a shoe of the like, is one of the three essentials, up there with the oxford/wingtip, and the sneaker (Muji Good Fit sneaker if you’re interested). I am expecting them to be my best friend, without spiraling into unhealthy objectophilia. But, I could say they will have some pretty big shoes to fill (pun intended and forcibly intended at that.)
